Should Parents Track Their Kids?

 Should Parents Track Their Kids?

Most parents are worried about losing their kids whether they go on a walk, or drive a car. Putting tracking devices on their kids is what helps some parents and children. But some don’t always agree, because children should have the freedom.

Yes- Safety Is Very Important

Parents should track their kids because they need to keep their kids on track. As many know, kids aren’t as orientated as parents and don’t have as much awareness. Parents should track their kids so they can teach their kids the surroundings that are in their area. Also, parents should let their kids roam around, but also know if they go in an unexpected area, a place where they aren’t supposed to go, or even get lost on the way home. Tags can be helpful in a crowded mall, mansion or even a hotel.

No- Kids Deserve Their Freedom

Parents shouldn’t track their kids because kids deserve their freedom. When kids know their being tracked, they start to lose the sense that they’re free, or have a life to live. Many parents want to keep their kids okay but kids want to live a life where they have freedom, or can take responsibility for their actions. Even if they're bad. What many kids are having is a life closely guarded by their parents. If parents want more kids to have more experiences making their kid the one who decides, then the kid will not only become smarter. But braver to know how to defend more situations.

Think:

What side do you agree with? Why?
