Easter is Here!

Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ in the Christian religion. Eggs have been seen as ancient symbols of fertility, while springtime is considered to bring new life and rebirth. The first story of a rabbit (later named the “Easter Bunny”) hiding eggs in a garden was published in 1680. Easter takes place on a Sunday, after the 40-day period called Lent. Lent is referred to as a time of fasting, but participants focus more on giving up one significant indulgence.“The White House Easter Egg Roll” event has been celebrated by the President of the United States and their families since 1878! When people think about Easter they usually think about eggs and bunnies.

Easter is seen as a day of giving back to yourself. Knowing that there are ups and downs in life. Many people have a feast with their favorite foods, or buy their favorite gifts. Easter is just a day where. Many give back.

The tradition of colored eggs comes from a bird called the Osterhase Hawk. Which eggs’ look colored from an angle. Many added bunnies to the story to make the story symbolised, and more fantasy or kid friendly for kids that are the ages 3-8. Now the story is famous all over the world. The Easter Egg Hunt is known to find life and death in these eggs that you find. Many people still think of this today!
